My philosophy is simple: I believe in providing a nurturing environment that minimizes disruption to you and your pet.
I understand that pets are creatures of habit, accustomed to their routines, environments, and their favorite humans. While pet hotels can be a good option for some, they are not suitable for every pet; those prone to stress from changes in their surroundings or that suffer from separation anxiety may have an especially difficult time. By coming to your home, I ensure that the only change for your pet is the presence of a friendly and caring person who is dedicated to catering to their needs.
My pet sitting journey began several years ago, sparked by my love of animals and by friends and colleagues who asked me to pet sit when they traveled. I found myself looking forward to my friends’ trips and found joy in providing their pets with the attention and love they deserved, and the peace of mind my friends deserved.
Let me take care of your beloved pets while you’re away, allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own home where they feel the safest, and avoid the stress and anxiety of pet hotels for both you and your furry children.

Policies
Meet & Greet
Prior to the sitting there will be a “meet and greet” where I will meet your pet, we will discuss your pets’ needs and routines, and I will be familiarized with your home. I will take extensive notes during this meeting, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a list of any important details regarding your home that I should be aware of.
Age & Breeds
I am passionate about caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, with a particular preference for those who are 24 months or older.
My experience includes a strong focus on senior dogs, and I am well-equipped to cater to their unique needs; I am dedicated to ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether it's administering medication, ensuring they get gentle exercise, or simply providing companionship, I am here to help your furry friends thrive.
Rates, Payments & Cancellations
My typical rates are as follows, though they are reviewed at the beginning of each year:
- Dogs: $50 - $80 per day
- Cats: $30 - $40 per day
- Other Pets: Pricing varies based on specific needs. I have experience caring for a variety of animals, including chickens.
Important Policy Update – Effective Jan 1, 2026
To ensure smooth scheduling and availability for all our clients, we are updating our booking and cancellation policy for all services taking place in 2026 and beyond.
New Deposit Requirement (Effective for 2026 Bookings)
Starting January 1, 2026, all new bookings for services occurring in 2026 will require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

The remaining balance will be invoiced 7 days prior to the start of service and must be paid in full at that time.
**For existing 2026 bookings made prior to this policy, deposit invoices will be sent out at the beginning of 2026.**
Updated Cancellation Policy (Effective 01/01/2026)
We understand that life happens, and plans can change. In fairness to both clients and our business, the following cancellation terms will apply to all 2026 bookings:

7+ days’ notice: Full refund of the deposit.

3 to 7 days’ notice: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

Less than 48 hours’ notice: Deposit is non-refundable.
We recognize that emergencies and unexpected events occur. We are committed to working with our clients and may waive or reduce cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis, especially for loyal clients or emergency situations.
Current payment and cancellation policy voids 12/31/25
Payment is due prior to the stay. You will receive a Venmo request three days before the start of the service.
I kindly request a 72-hour notice for cancellations before the first day of the scheduled sitting. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 40% fee based on the total cost of the stay.

Availability
A minimum booking of two nights required.
Advance notice of 48 hours is preferred for booking requests. New clients will require, at minimum, one week notice to schedule / accommodate a “meet & greet”.
My availability calendar is kept up to date (read-only). If the dates that you would like to book are free, please reach out to me via my contact form at the bottom of this page.
